Sample Itinerary

Day One: Flight from UK to Lyon. Arrive at hotel and check-in.

Day Two: Full day for site visits in Lyon, Roman city of Lugdunum, including remains of Roman Theatre, Amphitheatre and Odeon and Gallo-Roman Museum.

Day Three: Full day excursion to Alise Ste Reine, site of Julius Caesar’s victory over the Gauls, visit ancient site of Alesia and view Vercingetorix monument.

Day Four: Full day excursion to Lake Geneva to visit the Roman museum at Nyon and amphitheatre at Avenches.
Day Five: Morning visit to Roman site of Vienne. Return flight to UK.
