Nimrod Festivals & Tours are a specialist tour operator founded by an Exeter Latin graduate. A small and dedicated family-run business, with twenty years experience in the field, we offer the best possible touring experiences for students and young musicians from UK schools and colleges.

‘Nimrod’ is one of the ‘Enigma Variations’, the most popular and well-known works of Sir Edward Elgar. Nimrod Festivals & Tours takes its name from this quintessentially English piece of music as our offices are based in Worcestershire under the shadow of Sir Edward’s beloved Malvern Hills.

Inspired by Britain’s finest composer, Nimrod Festivals & Tours has two sides to the business. Firstly, our Classics Tours aim to provide students with an outstanding overseas educational experience, while our Concert Tours provide a quality music tour experience where your concert performances are top priority.

Now, in 2026 we’re excited to offer a wider range of experiences, with Religious Studies Tours, Art History Tours, and Sports Tours.
